The best Mexican restaurant. I get a full meal and privacy here. The waiters are attentive to your needs for refills. The food is a hot temperature with market vegetables. I had some of my guy friends steak fajitas. The portion sizes are large. The location is a wonderful venue with leather interior,Mexican statues, and a bar in the back.
One of the best tacos I've had especially the single taco with the steak pieces and sweet onion is to die for ! Their jumbo margaritas are just awesome chose their daily specials and you'll not regret it ! Two of them and am sure you'll end up sleeping in your car and not drive home, for dinner I ordered their chicken soup which comes along with rice...it's worth every penny ! A definite visit if you're a Mexican food lover and in the area !
First time to Frida’s. I ordered the Arrachera Steak Tacos and they were phenomenal! Great service, amazing food, and beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!
If you’re ever in Memphis and craving amazing Mexican food and even better service, you have to check out Frida’s Mexican Restaurant on Madison Avenue. The atmosphere is vibrant, the food is flavorful, but what really made my night was Giselle, the bartender. Giselle was absolutely phenomenal, super friendly, attentive, and knew exactly how to make the perfect drink. I had a margarita that was hands-down one of the best I’ve had in the city. She kept the energy upbeat, made everyone at the bar feel welcome, and somehow balanced speed and quality like a pro. Whether you’re stopping by for drinks, dinner, or just a good vibe, Giselle at Frida’s is someone who’ll make your visit unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back!
We went for lunch and as always greeted and seated immediately. Service was excellent as well as the food. Always happy with this location. Server was very prompt and extremely friendly.
We came here as a family midday, and the food was fantastic. The drink specials were on point and the restaurant was fairly empty so my kids enjoyed being able to move around in the restaurant a bit. Loved the half and half margarita and the shrimp street tacos - it was really a great experience and we look forward to returning.
This location is in the Carriage Crossing Mall area. Drive right up to the front door. They are usually busy on the weekends. They will seat you as quickly as possibly. I warm chips and salsa comes right away. Kids eat for about 5 bucks. All I get usually at most Mexican restaurants is the bean dip. No complaints... they have specials on drinks and other food items, certain days and times. A lunch menu as well.
